A small dish from the Cau Mau shipwreck Circa 1725,
With a rock decorated border, decorated with a coastal scene, near distance
with trees and boats, middle showing 2 pan boats and a small rock island, far
with coastline, buildings and five birds in flight, 11cms.
Provenance Cau Mau Shipwreck sank around 1725. The items were retrieved by underwater
Vietnamese archaeologists and sold at Sotherbys Amsterdam.
Condition - brown base glaze loss and wear salt water, No restoration or repair
