A good Bow mug Circa 1755,

Bell-shaped grooved looped handle decorated with an imari pattern of flowering prunus sprays and hollow rocks in an underglazed blue, red enamel and gold, a diaper border around the rim reserved with flowerheads, Bow factory Circa 1748-74 - the production output was high producing a large variety of wares from decorative items such as figures, to utilitarian tableware mainly painted in underglazed blue decoration, the porcelain was thickly potted with a greyish appearance and is distinct from other factories, workman's mark below handle, 12cms high.

Condition - excellent condition, minor wear. No restoration or repair
