Antiques For Quality Antique Ceramics and Antiquities |
Northern Antiques is the family business of Gerald Adams and is based in the North of England. Northern Antiques specialize in fine quality antique ceramics and antiquities and take pride in the quality of stock they offer. After collecting early English ceramics for over 25 years Gerald has now turned his passion for ceramics into a family business. Having been a collector himself, Gerald understands the importance of forming a collection that brings pride and enjoyment. For this reason Northern Antiques endeavours to search for fine, un-restored examples for its' clients. Northern Antiques are more than happy to advise clients on matters regarding their own collections. |
Items on offer from this collection include a rare porcelain Worcester Spitton, painted in blue with a previously unrecorded design of fruit and flower sprays. Also on offer is a good and rare example of an English Delft Salt, an example of similar shape from the Rous Lench collection painted with an angel head in blue, this is now in the Longridge collection. Other fine and rare examples include these beautiful Chinese porcelain export plates, with grisaille decoration; one depicting the Crucifiction of Christ, the other depecting the Resurrection of Christ. |
